Primary 6 Math Tuition — Live Online, Groups of 5
For Primary 6 students (typically 12 years old, sitting the PSLE this year). Children preparing for the PSLE who need weak topic bands closed and Paper 2 timing fixed before the exam.
MOE syllabus alignment
Fully aligned to the MOE Primary 6 Mathematics syllabus. We teach the same topics, in the same sequence, using the same bar-model and heuristic approach your child's school uses — so what happens in class here reinforces what happens in school.
What we cover at Primary 6
- Algebra: using letters to represent numbers, simplifying and evaluating expressions
- Fractions: division of a whole number by a fraction, complex remainder problems
- Ratio: three-term ratios, constant total/difference and repeated identity problems
- Percentage: increase, decrease, percentage change and reverse percentage
- Speed, distance and time, including average speed and meeting/overtaking problems
- Circles: radius, diameter, circumference, area, and composite figures with circles
- Volume of solids and liquids, including cuboid problems with a missing dimension
- Pie charts and data interpretation
- Nets of solids and angle properties in composite geometric figures
- PSLE-format Paper 2 problem sums: multi-concept, high-mark structured questions
Class format and teachers
Live on Zoom
Live on Zoom, taught in real time by a teacher — never a recording.

NIE-trained teachers
Your child's Primary 6 Math class is taught by a current or ex-MOE teacher who has taught this level in a Singapore school. We do not publish teacher names or photos — a deliberate policy we explain in full on our teachers page.
How the brainflex method works at Primary 6
- 01
Assess
We diagnose against PSLE topic bands — algebra, ratio, speed, percentage, circles — plus timing under paper conditions.
- 02
Diagnose
We separate content gaps from exam-technique losses: careless transfer, unfinished Paper 2, method marks not shown.
- 03
Target
Time goes to the two or three highest-mark weak bands, not an even sweep of the whole syllabus.
- 04
Practise
PSLE-format problem sums with working written the way markers award method marks, timed from term two.
- 05
Review
Paper-by-paper mark analysis after each practice set, shared with parents so the plan to PSLE stays visible.
The full five-stage cycle is explained on the method page.

Common FAQ
Is it too late to start in PSLE year?
No — but the plan changes. We diagnose fast, target the two or three highest-mark weak bands, and drill exam technique alongside.
Do you do past-year PSLE papers?
Yes, in PSLE format and under timing from term two, with working marked the way markers award method marks.
How do you handle Paper 2 timing?
Timed sectional practice first, then full papers, so your child learns which questions to leave and return to.
What if my child freezes on problem sums?
We teach a fixed opening routine — read, identify units, draw — so there is always a first move to make.
How many children are in one class?
Five. Primary 6 classes are capped at 5 students so the teacher can speak to your child by name in every session. We only stretch to 7 when a student joins for a make-up lesson.
Can we try before committing?
Yes. Start with the S$20 Learning Gap Assessment — a real live session where a teacher works with your child and reports back on exactly what is missing.
